Apr2024 Finance update - Monthly Dividend/Interest received $10K

Apr2024 Dividend/Interest received from my investment and retirement account is about SGD $10058. The higher than expected dividend was due to early distribution of FCT.  Dividend and interest income were collected from more than 30 over counters and ETFs in April. YTD portfolio performance improved to 1.36% and 3.13% if dividend is included. I am satisfy with this low +ve performance as my overall portfolio has been drag down by my S-Reit portfolio that is sitting on a -16% paper loss. The overall YTD performance has been pulled up by my US and HKSE portfolio.

Trade in April

I added about $19k of new shares in Capitaland Ascott , Keppel Reit , 116.hk , 3983.hk and BTI. I did some balancing to replace some Baba shares with 3983.hk but added the unrealized loss of Baba to the cost of the new counter. This is just easier for me to assess the overall HKSE portfolio performance.

Apr2024 Liquid Financial Asset distribution:

Mar2024 Finance update - Monthly Dividend/Interest received $10.5K Q1 Total $26k

Mar2024 Dividend/Interest received from my investment and retirement account is about SGD $10516. Q1 total dividend is 26,184 compare to 21k in 2023Q1.This is an increase of 24% despite headwind from lower REIT DPU.  Dividend and interest income were collected from more than 30 over counters and ETFs in March. YTD portfolio performance improved to 0.78% and 2.04% if dividend is included.

Trade in Mar

There is very little action as I only added Nikko S-Reit ETF. I did some balancing to replace some HK counters with China SOE but added the unrealized loss to the cost of the new counter. This is just easier for me to assess the overall HKSE portfolio performance.  I feel that HK related real estate counters especially those with high retail rental asset are facing structural change like US office reits and will not recover in near term.

Feb2024 Dividend/Interest received from my investment and retirement account is about SGD $8003. Dividend and interest income were collected from more than 30 over counters and ETFs in Feb. YTD portfolio performance improved to 0.3% and 1.07% if dividend is included.

There is very little action as I only added 2 bond etf LQDE.L and LKOR after one of my bond is matured. For HKSE, I also added small stake of 6823.hk HKT using some left over HKD dividend in Jan.

Jan2024 Finance update - Monthly Dividend/Interest received $7.7K

Jan2024 Dividend/Interest received from my investment and retirement account is about SGD $7664. Dividend and interest income were collected from more than 31 over counters and ETFs in January. YTD portfolio performance drop to - 0.6% and -0.2% if dividend is included. The drop is due to FED comment that rate cut might be delayed.

There is very little action as I only added 2000 Nikko Reit ETF shares on SGX with some dividend collected in December.
